SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THOSE WISHING TO REGISTER FOR WORKSHOPS AND INFORMATION EVENINGS
Willow Den has had to change our registration policy due to the popularity of the workshops and information evenings. In order to be fair to everyone we must receive payment for workshops at the time of registration. You may register in one of two ways; either in the store (payment by cash, debit or Credit Card) or by phone (payment by Credit Card). The store phone number is 905-280-0358. We cannot reserve or guarantee a seat without payment. If a workshop becomes full we will create a waiting list in the event of a cancellation or for when we reschedule a repeat workshop. Thank you for your understanding.

INFORMATION EVENINGS:
Sunday, February 14th @ 7pm - New Moon Crystal Labyrinth Meditation;
Please pre-register by phone (905-280-0358) since space is limited for this event.
You are invited to come and participate in the spiritual walking meditation of the labyrinth. The cost for this event is $5 per person which will be completely donated to either the Owl Foundation or Niagara Nutrition Partners. We will be setting up the crystal labyrinth on or around the New Moon of each month.
The moon changes astrological signs approximately every two days. However, when the moon exactly conjuncts the sun (shares it's astrological degree), it is no longer visible in the sky and at this point in the lunar cycle it is called a "New Moon". This occurs once every month (in rare instances, twice) and marks the beginning of a new monthly astrological cycle.
The new moon astrology signifies a start of a new personal cycle each month. It's a time to renew or revise our goals, reach for what we wish for most and renew ourselves. When setting goals or aspiring towards our dreams and desires it is important to keep a few things in mind. First of all, our wishes can only involve ourselves. We cannot try to change others, only our attitudes towards those people, in hopes that they will respond favorably to us. Another important aspect of this process is to meditate on the qualities of the sign that the new moon is occurring in. These astrological qualities will give us powerful hints on what to strive for, and how to approach or strategize towards what we want to accomplish.

Saturday, March 20th @ 7pm - Crystal Bowl Introduction/Meditation;
Please pre-register by phone (905-280-0358) since space is limited for this event.
You are invited to come learn about and experience the sounds of Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls. Quartz Crystal bowls were originally produced by the computer industry to grow silicon crystal chips. Originally the Crystal Bowls were made from “silica sand” that is very pure quartz in nature. Today, most Crystal Bowls are manufactured using pure crushed and powdered quartz. The quartz is dropped into a centrifugal force spinning mold and at the proper instant an electric arc torch is ignited to several thousand degrees centigrade. The particles melt to form the bowl, which is then cooled, ground, polished and tuned. The end result is a structure of the purest resonance, capable of sending out audible sound tested up to a third of a mile from the source. The cost for this event is $5 per person which will be completely donated to either the Owl Foundation or Niagara Nutrition Partners.

Kundalini Yoga for Everyone
Cost for the 10 week session is $100 to be paid in advance.
Kundalini Yoga, known as the yoga of awareness, is the most powerful yoga known. As brought to the West in 1969 by Yogi Bhajan, it produces results 16 times faster than ordinary yoga.
Its power comes from the Kundalini, an enormous reserve of untapped potential within each of us. It is normally depicted as a coiled or sleeping serpent, located in an area towards the base of the spine. By gradually and safely awakening this energy and employing its power, you will benefit greatly from an elevation in consciousness, promotion of physical well-being and an expansion of awareness. You will feel more relaxed and at ease with yourself. Your life will be transformed into one which is happy, healthy and harmonious.
Karel has been on his journey for over 20 years doing a variety of different meditation styles which lead him to the practices of yoga. He explored Hatha yoga from which he discovered the technology of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Karel has been certified as a Kundalini Yoga teacher by the Kundalini Research Institute.
